2. What Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

• Product names, purchase dates, expiration dates, store names, and costs you enter
• Notes, serial numbers, and claim instructions you add to records
• Receipt photos you choose to attach
• Your notification settings and in-app preferences

Information Collected Automatically

• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Crash reports and error logs to diagnose and fix bugs
• Aggregate usage analytics not tied to individual data you enter
• Push notification delivery status

Information We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name or email address unless you contact support
• We do not collect payment card information. All payments are handled by Apple or Google
• We do not collect location data
• We do not track you across other apps or websites
• We do not build advertising profiles
• We do not collect biometric data

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used exclusively to operate the app features you use. This includes displaying records, calculating countdowns, sending expiry notifications, and allowing you to search and organize your data. If you contact support, we use your information only to respond to your request.

4. Data Storage and Security

By default, all data you enter is stored locally on your device using secure local storage. Your data does not leave your device unless you explicitly enable cloud backup. When cloud backup is enabled, data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256, stored on US-based servers.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We work with a limited set of trusted service providers only:

• Apple Inc. for App Store distribution, in-app purchases, and push notifications
• Google LLC for Google Play distribution, in-app purchases, and push notifications
• RevenueCat for subscription management using anonymous app user ID and subscription status only
• Crash analytics providers receiving device info and crash logs only with no personal data

We may disclose information if required by law or court order.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have full control over your data at all times. You can delete any record within the app, delete all data by uninstalling the app, or request complete data deletion by contacting us. We fulfill deletion requests within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what data we collect, request deletion, and opt out of data sales. We do not sell personal information.

European residents (GDPR): You have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, and data portability. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. Children's Privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided us information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
